Representatives from Mothers 4 Education attended Career Day, " It's all About YOU! Your Choices - Your Decisions", at Carlisle High School on Friday, April 8th, 2011. Former CHS graduates, Oscar Washington, Ginger Stuart Schafer, Jamie Harrison, Beth Hunt and James Gosney spoke to the students about their successes and encouraged them to do well on their Benchmark exams.

MOTHERS 4 EDUCATION IS NOW A REGISTERED NON-PROFIT AGENCY! ALL DONATION MADE TO M4E IS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE!!! In November of 2010, M4E decided to submit our application to become a registered non-profit organization. This was a long process but it was worth the wait! By becoming a registered non-profit, we have opened ourselves up to be able to receive some grant funding from national foundations and some local foundations. December 2010 In November and December, we are all reminded that this is the season for giving. Each year, Carlisle High School sponsors the Bison Tree, which is similar to an angel tree. Children, with the permission of their parents, are allowed to fill out what they would like for Christmas. These are families who struggle to provide on a day to day basis, and feel the added pressure around this time every year. M4E was able to grant Christmas wishes to some of the children. September 11, 2010 Bancorp South sponsored a Keys To Homeownership seminar for our local community. Residents and vendors weathered the rain Saturday to participate in the Keys to Homeownership event at the Carlisle Senior Citizens Center. The event was designed to educate anyone interested in buying, selling, building or upgrading a home. November 2010 M4E received a request from a 4th grade teacher at Carlisle Elementary School. This teacher, along with two others, are the sponsors for the Accelerated Reader Program. 3rd-6th grade students are encouraged to participate in the program. Students must read books at or abover their current reading level, and test on the books. Each book is worth a certain amount of points. Mothers 4 Education would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who took part in our Thanksgiving Bake Sale. When we are amongst friends and family, there is always one common thread in which we are all bound, and that is food. Mothers 4 Education was able to fill several unique orders. Mothers 4 Education Assists The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and the Carlisle Lions Club October 16th, 2010 10-am to 3:00 pm
The Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and the Carlisle Lions Club sponsored the 2010 Airport Days. Mothers 4 Education Provides Concessions For Home Pee-Wee Games
Several members of Mothers 4 Education assisted the Carlisle Pee-Wee Football team and cheerleaders by providing concession for the home games.
